Last Monday a pilot was ferrying a L29 jet to Bathurst and mid afternoon was circling the airport, on closer inspection you could see that the right landing gear had trouble extending. The pilots of the L29 tried for some time to fix the issues at hand to the stage they no alternative but to land.
After burning off all the fuel to help with a safer gear up landing they lined up and bought the L29 in, with a good job done and still managed with all the landing gear issues, The pilot still got it on the center line.
A good out come with only minor damage and no injures to the crew. the plane was moved of the runway and all operations at Temora where back to normal.
